How many CE/CME credits will I receive for each completed Violet collection?

Each CE eligible Violet collection is equal to one CE/CME credit hour. Collections typically include four sections but this may vary. On average, collections take about an hour to complete.

After completing a CE/CME accredited course, when will my Benchmarks update?

Our Benchmark updating process takes about a week to complete. You will see your updated Benchmarks usually on Monday, the week after you’ve completed a course or collection.

My licensure requires that I take continuing education courses that are certified by an accrediting body that is not listed.

The education collections page allows you to easily refine your search by filtering course collections that qualify for CME credit from a specific accrediting body. However, this filter only applies to proprietary Violet education.

Note that through Violet’s platform, you have access to third-party accredited education, which we’ve vetted for quality. Some of these courses likely meet the requirements of your licensure and we are happy to help you locate them. Just email us at support@joinviolet.com.

When does the certification arrive?

When you complete a Violet collection, you’ll be prompted to evaluate the course by answering a few short questions. Once this is complete, you’ll select which professional group you’re a part of. Then you’ll see the option to print your certificate. You can always print the certification at a later time by navigating to the Education page through your dashboard.

If you complete a 3rd party accredited course through Violet’s platform, your certificate will have to be obtained through the 3rd party. In addition, you’ll have to add this to your experience on your profile to have it count toward your Benchmarks.

Will I have the opportunity to give feedback about the course?

User feedback is collected and stored on a third party platform to be reviewed on a regular basis. Complaints and disputes regarding Violet’s accredited educational collections are raised to education and customer success leadership to be assessed and revised as needed.

Incidents are investigated within 48 business hours of reporting, evaluated for impacts and updates are made as necessary.

Reports are mitigated based upon the following risk levels determined by the OWASP methodology:

High - must be fixed immediately or alternate mitigation strategies must be implemented

Medium - reviewed to determine specific items to be mitigated. Actions to address must be scheduled.

Low - reviewed to determine specific items to be mitigated. Actions to implement mitigations must be scheduled.
