Taking the step to pursue therapy can be difficult, and Symonne aims to provide support and understanding as you begin this process. Feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety, and depression are common occurrences that are often too overwhelming to handle on one’s own. Symonne will work with you to manage and ease the distress posed by these, and other, life stressors.
While Symonne has experience with CBT, psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness, she concentrates on developing your relationship. Using a person-centered framework, her goal is to establish an open, accepting, and compassionate space for you to feel comfortable sharing your experiences.
Symonne believes in a holistic approach that encompasses each dynamic domain of life including home, work, education, and personal settings as well as family and personal values, culture, and religious/spiritual beliefs.
