She is a clinical supervisor at Identity House, an organization that serves the LGBTQ+ community by offering support groups and peer counseling. Simone worked with LGBTQ+ homeless youth as an intern at Streetwork Safe Horizon, during her training. She graduated from Gestalt Associates in 2017, a post-graduate program where she received extensive training in Gestalt psychotherapy, as well as completed courses in psychoanalysis, leading to my License in Psychoanalysis (LP) in 2019. During that training, she treated an extensive number of clients, many LGBTQ+, in the institute clinic. Prior to that, Simone also received a Master's in Psychology from the New School for Social Research. Simone also has been trained to work with rape survivors, as a volunteer Rape Crisis Advocate at St. Vincent's Hospital in 2009 and 2010.
