About

Ida is a therapist with nearly a decade of experience working with the LGBTQ+ community. She helps people address difficulties related to anxiety, stress, depression, and negative emotions. Ida specializes in assisting people in overcoming shame, self-criticism, stigma, low self-worth, and confidence issues.

Ida aims to support you in freeing yourself from troubling thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so you can transform your life to experiencing more positive emotions, attaining purposeful goals, feel better about yourself, and improve your connections with others. Working within a Compassion Focused Therapy framework, she'll work with you to utilize practical mind-body exercises (such as attention training, mindfulness, breathwork, body awareness, and imagery) in combination with techniques from different models of psychotherapy (including CBT, Narrative, Person-Centered, and Gestalt, among others) in developing an embodied state of peace and well-being.
