Chris practices largely from a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic perspective, but also utilizes CBT, Mindfulness, and other techniques. This means that understanding your relationships, your past, and your current struggles and goals are always connected in his mind, and these connections are a large focus of the way Chris work. Chris rarely gives "homework" and prefers to have less structured sessions, starting with whatever is on your mind that day, large or small. He is quite interactive and welcomes feedback throughout the therapy process.
"I have been working with the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities since 2002, and continue to enjoy the work, and understand the importance of feeling comfortable with the person you are in therapy with."
