About

Brie Scolaro, LMSW, is a licensed social worker and performance coach that helps LGBTQ+ folx (ages 21+) navigate stress, anxiety, and depression. Brie uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to enable patients to create fulfilling and meaningful lives. Brie's approach is not to eliminate thoughts and feelings, but rather to help patients learn how to experience life more fully, without as much struggle, and with vitality and commitment. Brie received her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Delaware. She has five years’ experience in therapy and coaching, and ten years’ experience in LGBTQ+ human rights and advocacy, often incorporating social justice and anti-oppressive lens into their individual work.

"I have 5 years experience working with LGBTQ+ folx, and identify as a queer, cis, non-binary individual."
