About

Bob is a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry located in NYC with a clinical doctoral degree. He has more than 25 years of experience in the mental health and psychiatric field, specializing in the treatment of ADHD, ADD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Insomnia, and Bipolar Disorder in children, teens, adults, and seniors. He works with both clients who have had previous experience in therapy and those who are new to therapy. Bob takes the time to understand his clients using a Biopsychosocial Model that is holistic and integrative. He uses a warm, empathetic, team approach when working with clients. Bob takes every opportunity to educate his clients regarding conditions, evidence-based treatment options, and the risks vs. benefits of medication at the lowest possible dosages to assist the client to achieve their goals. He makes a concerted effort to frequently check in with clients to discuss how they are feeling to ensure their goals and needs are being met. When meeting with a new client, Bob spends time listening to their story to gain a better understanding of what their daily routine looks like, what a bad day entails, and what is important to them. His goal in practice is to assist his clients in feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. He takes the time to listen and understand clients’ treatment concerns.

Bob was trained in CBT originally and has been trained in medication-assisted treatment prescribing for SUDs, can prescribe Suboxone.
