Alex prioritizes creating a space for someone to feel supported and heard. He believes that the most important aspect of a therapeutic relationship is the dynamic between client and therapist and when you truly feel comfortable and understood by your therapist, that is when therapy can thrive.

Primarily working in community health centers and non-profit organizations, he has provided mental health services to homeless men and women, adults who are actively using substances and unsure of what changes they would like to make, and with homeless youth who are struggling with a severe mental illness.
