Join Violet for a Mindfulness Workshop where we will be exploring what Mindfulness is and how we can use it to enhance our daily lives. We will review the science behind Mindfulness and discuss skills that will help us engage in Mindful practices. This workshop is experiential and will offer opportunities to practice Mindful walking, eating (bring a piece of fruit), and meditation. This workshop incorporates teachings from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Zen Buddhism; that will lay the foundation for incorporating Mindfulness into your life.
