What Violet is all about

We define queer-competence as much more than being accepting. Queer-competence includes education, understanding, celebration, and unconditional support for our community to thrive.

The LGTBQ+ community is a very diverse group, whose identities vary far beyond the acronym.

We partner with providers who are passionate about providing care to our community. We invest time in learning about your education and experiences, and use this insight to match you with clients that you're most interested in working with.

Onboarding Process

Fill out the interest form and we’ll setup an introduction call to learn more about your practice and you.

Complete our onboarding process, helping us learn about your queer-competencies (i.e. your experience working with the queer community)(~20 minutes).

We send you queer clients that you want to work with.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of fees does Violet charge for your service?

We charge a platform fee per completed session. We only charge for care rendered and so there are no monthly subscription or sign-up fees.

Does Violet require a specific amount of time slots from providers?

We don't require any minimum time slot commitment from providers in our community. You determine the number of slots you want to allocate towards Violet clients and just let us know when your panel is full.

How much will I earn per session?

We want queer-competent providers to be as autonomous as possible. As a provider with Violet, you set your own rates, including sliding scale prices.

How often will I be paid?

Payments are processed on a weekly basis and will be sent to your account every Monday.

Do I need to sign a contract or agreement to join?

Yes, as part of the onboarding process you will need to sign our standard Service Agreement. This agreement does not lock you into anything and you can terminate your participation with Violet at any time.
