What types of groups are offered?

Support Groups

Support groups are recurring groups, facilitated by either: a therapist, coach, or peer specialist. Support groups offer a safe space to share experiences about a specific identity, situation, or general mental health. Attending a support group provides an opportunity to connect with people who share both their struggles and the ways in which they thrive.

Led by facilitators, support groups provide a safe space to connect and grow with others like you.

Wellness Classes

Mental health and wellness classes are taught by therapists, mental health workers, or subject matter experts and offer instruction on a particular mental health-related topic. Classes are taught on a myriad of topics, ranging from stress management to nutrition for mental wellness. These classes can teach skills such as coping, emotional regulation and relaxation.

Led by mental health educators, wellness classes provide a safe space to invest in your mental health.

Group Therapy

Group therapy involves working with a therapist in a group setting with other participants. Many types of therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, are shown to be effective both one-on-one and in groups. Group therapy provides a sense of belonging, and offers support and reflections from people who have similar experiences and goals as you.

Led by clinicians, group therapy is an effective way to learn some of the same techniques taught in 1:1 therapy in a collaborative setting.
